Palindome

Just like you can read a palindrome from right left with the same result, the Palidome is geometrically reversible, whether you place it right side up or upside down. The pointed arches familiar from gothic church windows an other impressive architectural constructions here are playfully mirrored.

Together, the arches comprise eight ‘eyes’ with which they allow visitors kaleidoscopic views from any different angle.

The Palindome thus puts a slight twist on architectural and anatomical metaphors, not only appealing to the eyes, but also encouraging visitors to change their perspective, from point of focus to vanishing point
